In LSC2, we have been using our green-fingers as part of our Food Glorious Food topic. We have been working in our school garden which we created in conjunction with Eco-School and Danske Bank. As well as tending to our fruit trees and bushes, we have been planting strawberry plants, winter salad leaves, radishes and flower bulbs for the springtime. We harvested the potatoes which we planted in the summer and have been enjoying cooking with the ingredients we have grown. We also enjoyed taking part in a fruit-tasting session hosted by EcoSchools and pressing fruit to make juices.
In LSC2, we love to learn and we do this in many ways. Here we are enjoying learning outdoors and being creative during art activities. We especially like to find out about the world around us and learn practical skills like cooking.
