Today the Primary 5s had a very important visit from 3 local Firefighters who told us how to keep themselves, their families and their homes safe from fire. 🏡 🔥
They also told us what to do in the case of a fire. We hope that there will be lots of chat around the tea tables tonight about fire safety e.g. unplugging items at bedtime, checking candles are properly out, testing Tuesday and closing doors etc. 🔌💡
Thanks to the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service for taking time out of their busy schedule to visit us! 😊

P5G love P.E. lessons and know the value of exercise, learning new skills and even learning how to deal with losing! 👏🏻
So far this year, they have practiced a range of team sports including hockey 🏑, football ⚽️, tag rugby 🏉 and this half term they are having great success with volleyball 🏐
Primary 5 have badminton, cricket, rounders, tennis, swimming and athletics still to look forward to in the coming months! ✨👏🏻

P5G are continuing their work on the human body!
This time they were investigating the ins and ‘’outs’’ 🫣 of the digestive system. What super scientists!
